Hi

I have a willem 4.5 which i bought for programming atmels and intels,

Now i dont have any problems when programming the Atmels i can ID okay and program ok everytime, But when i try the Intel 28F160 chips i cant ID them at all, im 100% that the legs are making good conatct as ive checked for continuity from leg to contact.

ive checked the Intel 28F160 Data sheet for correct voltage which is 3.3v-3.6v

ive tried many settings over the past 4 weeks and ive also setup my XP system as per willem 4.5 instructions manual, so now im at a loss.

Can anyone please suggest how to setup the willem programmer to ID the Intel 28F160 chip

Thanks In Advance

Regards

tsop48 socket on willem 4.5 supports 8/16 bit flash memory in 8 bit mode.
28F160C3B is 16 bit flash memory and external 16 bit flash adapter required (from sivava T01+T07).
