I'm trying to reflash the 29LV160 using the Willem 4.5 with the adaptor. I can't get it to read the chip. Any suggestions on the A-19 and A-20 settings and any jumper settings will be most helpful.

Thanks

Can You tell me how your A19 and A20 jumpers are set? I have tried multiple settings and have had no luck reading or writing to the chip

I have tried every combination possible to get an electronic ID on this chip. I have a PCB45 programmer with the 48 adaptor. I don't know if both A-19 and A-20 wires should be connected or just A-19. I don't know if the 3 volt jumper should be on or off (the one on the adaptor) or should the 3 volt jumper be on or off on the main board. I have tried the 8/16 bit 29LV160 to no avail. The chip was removed from an Ariza Extreme FTA, I suspect it may be locked, but I'm not certain, I have tried the temporary sector on and off with no success. I have checked the contacts under a magnifying glass and all looks good.
Any Suggestions would be gratly appreciated..
