** SOLVED ** Help needed , WIN 7 32 bit and willemsoftware

Hi Forum ,

I face a problem many people must have seen ..................

I cannot make my willem to work with my Win7.

It is win 7 32 bit version to be the most compatible .

But it keeps telling me " preferred operation " and blocks normal use of the software .

I am using willem software Version 98D12c3.


Any help please .

Are you trying install willem software or
launching SW from directory (exe and io.dll) ?

Hi EZO,

installing is not possible as the .exe needs to be run directly.

Will it be possible to get the io.dll copied into win7 , or do i need to get it differently ??

Problem solved


Okay , try to run and work with the programm directly from its folder and place the io.dll in that folder too.
Don't forget to tag the willem programm with compatibility for winxp sp3 .

Works without a problem so far.
