File load error with Willem Programmer

I'm getting a File Load error with Willem Programmer 0.99KB

I’ve installed the software on an old PC with an LPT port. It is running Windows 7 32-bit. I have created a second shortcut so Willem EPROM Pro runs As Administrator, if necessary.

I am powering the Willem 5.5c from an AC to USB adaptor; it drew too much current and shut down the USB port.

Help | Test Hardware says “Hardware Present”.

I figured I was ready, so I tried to load a file into the buffer. I get a blank error dialog box...

I get the same dialog box with the Open File button, File | Load, File | Save As, Ctrl+L ...

I have successfully used Willem Programmer on this PC before, but a long time ago.

... Don't forget to tag the willem programm with compatibility for winxp sp3 ...

I'll give it a try and report back.

FIXED! WOOT!

One small problem, if I change the device type, it goes back to the original problem.
