impossible to write win bond w25x40bv

hi to all, i've to reprogram a winbond w25x40bv

when i try to erase it, it is erased in like 1 second. if i do a blank check it says device not empty

if i write the chip it gave me an error what can i do?

Review solder pin, I could think the same and reviewing welds pin was solved.

ok i used the utility to unlock the chip and i was able to cancel and write it, but the notebook (toshiba satellite l750-12n psk2ye) doesn't work. i've tried bios 3.60 and 3.10

it is a 4mb bios in ".fd" format. i've renamed it into .bin

is it right?!

Toshiba Satellite L750-12n PSK2YE, no LPT port, is the Ezoflash or tool that you use are they?,? Could do thumbnails to see?, It would be better if you go up photos of their tools.

i'm a bit confused...this motherboard has two chip very similar a w25x40bv and a 25q32bvs1g

i've downloaded the schematic for this motherboard

but i've seen that i've done a big mistake

i've reprogrammed the w25x40: it says "eeprom"!! but the other chip is "spi flash"

so what's the correct chip?!

so

w25q32 is 4M-bit

w25x40 is 512kb

so i've flashed the 25x40 and i've not a dump :'(
