Macronix MX29LV800CBTC-90G programming problem
Hello!
I have a Macronix MX29LV800CBTC-90G cmos flash memory. I built a tsop48 adapter for it, solded a chip onto it. Willem eprom reads out the code, but it can`t erase, or program it. When i click erase, it just says erased. When I try to prgram, an error occured.
Please help! Thx

re
The erase procedure is taking about 0.5 s. Blank test failed. All part of the chip is unerased. I tried the unprotect sector on/off. Same. What device id do i need to get @ electronic id? On tsop48b2 there are jumpers. what are the options for it?
Usually erase is fast.
Is any other tsop48 chip programmed before ? Is programmer tested in Test H/W mode (read guides)
------
Jumpers Jp2,Jp5. No jumpers on tsop48b2
Expect Get ID reply 0xC2 MXIC 0x5B MX29LV800B
Have you got it ?
Recheck chip pin soldering on adapter (magnifier, light)

For your chip apply SW 0.97ja, selected 3.3V 29LV800What device id do i need to get @ electronic id? On tsop48b2 there are jumpers. what are the options for it?

The programmer was used before, but it wasn`t tsop48. I checked the adapters soldig, there was a little short in the circuit. Now, I checked every signal, it`s fine. But now, when I try to erase, it takes >400 s, and at the end chip erase failed. I got ID 0X02, 0X02. Maybe the chip is already dead? :S Or the main programmer chips are dead already? Here I haven`t got multimeter to test the circuit. :S
....
Hi again!
My previous chip was fully dead. I requested some new sample chips from Macronix. Now, I put the things together, started the software, checked the ID, I got 0xFF, 0xFF. Reading ok, Its empty, Blank test ok. When I readed out the flash chip, then clicked on the programming, it started to program (the nothing), programmed, veryfied, ok. But when I try to load and program the bios file, I got an error, Error at 0x000000 Chip = 0xFF buffer = 0x02
It`s an amilo pro v3405 bios file, it`s 1,030 KB, and it`s extension is WPH.
Any idea?
Thanks
