EzoFlash 4.5 problem with paralel devices - need help

I was make EzoFlash 4.5 and it pass all test measured with osilloscope on 32 pin header..
Vpp , Vdd , Vss and all D0-D7 and A0 ..... are present on 32 pin header.
When I probe to read AM29F400BT no ID - nothing...
Also probe PLCC32 W49F002UP , 49LF004 , 39SF020A .. Nothing..
On some PLCC32 bios chip's have ID Fujitsu 0X04...and nothing
On reading that PLCC32 buffer fill first 1/2 of buffer with 04 hex and other with 06 hex...
What is the problem ?
I am not biginer in electronic and have good test equipment so give mi right direction for test...
Also reading PicMicro is OK... for info.

I need programmer special for F100-F400BT devices ... to work good.

Are pins tested one by one with measuring both voltages on/off ?

What is the problem ?

Looks missing OE signal. Check voltage changes in Test H/W mode, click OE on/off on following test points IC4/1,19, IC7/4, BU3/12.

Problem fix was change IC7 and IC8 - I don't know why but ...it work. (maybe bad luck).
I can read now SST MPF 39SF020A but can't erase or reprogram ....
Also can read Winbond W49F002UP128 bat can't erase or reprogram...
But my focus is AM29F400BT - can't read and no id and one question if anybody know
What is jumper set for PSOP44a adapter for 29F400BT - jumpers on adapter must be ???

Problem fix was change IC7 and IC8 - I don't know why but ...it work.

95% of all problems are in contacts, line break, line short, bad soldering.
Try recheck.

I can read now SST MPF 39SF020A but can't erase or reprogram ....
Also can read Winbond W49F002UP128 bat can't erase or reprogram...

Are you getting valid ID ?

What is jumper set for PSOP44a adapter for 29F400BT - jumpers on adapter must be ???

You can find in adapter description or in chip test file.
No jumpers used on adapter for 29F400.
Jumpers Jp1,Jp3, Jp5 on programmer. Jp97/Jp98 - depending from SW.
Jp6 is always ON, currently is test jumper. If random read/write/verify error occurs on serial devices in 5V mode (PIC, ... ) , remove Jp6 and try again. Another way , reduce voltage on target serial chip to 4.3 or 3.6V - most serial eeprom works with 3.6V. I found that only some chips require this mod , not sure in Jp6 usage need. Report me if Jp6 issues found.

But my focus is AM29F400BT

What SW do you apply, what is selected chip ? Don't select 29F400 in 16bit mode.

All test are finished again and I see something interest..
To I can pass test for A8 up to A16 I mast set A10-A11 high in other way I can't set or reset from A8 to A16 ??????
What is wrong.
I will change 4015 all three and see what will be...

Find line/soldering short around these lines. No need to change IC.

Are jumpers in Jp97 position ?

No vald ID at all for Bios chip's...

Without test pass , without adress set ID not reachable and read not reliable.

First at all many thanks Mr. Ezo for extra programmer in for small amount of money !

My problems was :
1. Short on PLCC32 Vpp ro Vcc - Case to break all 74XXX chips ( Great then 5V at Vcc on 74 serie case
damage ).
2. One short on 32 pin socket - case to have problem with set-reset from A8 and up...
3.Do not use These programmer via any of DATA SWITCH for LPT - electronic or mechanic.
4.Cable from LPT to progammer can be maximum of standard 1.5m. Better is short !
5.Put direct to L78705 on IN and OUT pin's to GND two 22-47uF / 25V to prevent 50Hz lake to sistem.As datasheet always write - but we sometime skip that
5.Flux is the last but known problem - I clean it with acetone ( my solution ).

All these is to help to other peoples for easy find problems.
Now I will look to make profesional PCB and package it in box - I will post when finish..

In my case PC is IBM 8188 genuine at dual procesor 3GHz
OS Win XP SP3.
EzoFlash+ V4.5 final revised.
All Bios chip's and HUB-s programming OK .
All Serial devices and PicMicro programmink OK.
Programming of all type Flash memory at last OK !!!
ID for all type of chips OK.
Again thank's Ezo for that extra programmer.
It is better from most CHINA fabricate and easy to make adapter for it.
I have GALEP4 but EzoFlash program AM29F400BT faster and read faster too...

Good news

My problems was :

My message is : 95% of all problems are in contacts, line break, line short, bad soldering.
Strongly recommend check board after production , especially for line breaks.
Check soldering results constantly after each component install on the board.
For ezoflash4v5 - don't place IC fully in on the board. IC pins come wider , higher short risk on top lines between chip pins.

Put direct to L78705 on IN and OUT pin's to GND two 22-47uF / 25V to prevent 50Hz lake to sistem

I recomend stabilised power supply or filtered with high value capacitors in output. No need to apply extra capacitor on programmer.

All these is to help to other peoples for easy find problems.

Yes I will send you of course all photos from PGM and all adapters which I have and new which I will make soon.
I want to help to we make these programmer to be more robust.

For info Ezo these programmer is better then all type and variation of willem which I was probe...
