Hello everybody, I hope I am posting my question about TSOP adapters in the right topic!
Currently I have a need to build an adapter for a particular flash in TSOP48 package. As I figured out TSOP48_d3 adapter fits my purpose. Meanwhile there are other adapters for both TSOP48 and TSOP56 chips. If I understand corretcly, by making two TSOP48_D3 adapters with different panels, one for 48-pin and the other for 56-pin chips it will cover the whole range of chips in both 48-pin and 56-pin packages or I need some additional adapter for particular chips? Can somebody comment on this, please?

You can apply one tsop48d3 with chip soldering for both packages (tsop48,tsop56)
Apply separate two adapters tsop48d3 with Meritec -48 and Meritec -56 sockets on each.
Don't use 56pin socket for 48 pin chip, high damage risk !

What chips ? Here is tsop56a1 for 28FxxxJ3 group.
Sometimes for temporary sector unprotect tsop48b2 required, to have +12/RST option for 8/16 bit 29LV800/160 .

this is what I concluded because of the following:

Don't use 56pin socket for 48 pin chip, high damage risk !

while soldering is not a reasonable option. I am not a professional but I like to have things well done.
